I have always been curious of the non-verbal. As a director and choreographer, my aim is always to bring that subtext alive through how the character moves, what decisions they make, what is aligned with their words and what contradicts them. I approach directing from an embodied perspective, ensuring actor-led character development and authentic expression of the text. Whether working with an existing text or devising with the company, I am drawn to multidisciplinary storytelling and I enjoy collaborating with artists from different fields.

My portfolio encompasses a wide spectrum, from large-scale musicals to classical farce and intimate physical theatre, both in the UK and in Finland. I have extensive experience working with young people and have been teaching acting and movement for students of all ages, as well as successfully coaching young talents into prestigious drama schools.
